I was laughing all the way through,I was emotional at some of the tones that the movie was going for, which really did work, like friendship and high school and just teenagers stuff overall.I was intrigued by the movie and the mystery in it.I loved the performances so much and the actors in it and honestly I can't think of any flaws or problems that I had with this movie. It is a fun, simple and interesting movie and I truly enjoyed it. The soundtrack is also very good and it keeps up the emotion, the feels and overall it truly fits with the movie itself. I think John Green has a very bright future on the teen movie genre as he really understands the way that they think and what they go through.Though personally I still prefer The Fault In Our Stars more than this one,I believe that both of them are very well made and very interesting to watch. I was really interested on the story all the way through, with all the mysteries and some laugh out loud moments throughout mostly delivered by Ben. The acting is really good here.Nat Wolff does an incredible job as the lead and so does Cara Delevingne who I think gave a near perfect performance. They are supported by a very strong cast who include Justice Smith as Radar,Austin Abrams as Ben Starling,Halston Sage as Lacey Pemberton and Jaz Sinclair as Angela. They are all incredible to watch and hopefully very soon they will all be involved on many great things on the movie industry because they deserve to. I think she says, ‘You don’t love me, you don’t know me.’ The way Cara said that, it choked me up,” he continued. … If you zoom out, you can’t know someone after three days in nine years. “We do girls a disservice by trying to romanticize them.
At times, Margo is unfair to Q, but it’s also unfair for Q to ask Margo to be all these things to him, to build her up,” he explained of the character played by Cara Delevingne, who Green admitted he “didn’t know she was famous” but “understands the idea of being seen as a two-dimensional object more than anyone.” “When you watch the actual movie, you see that Q’s miracle isn’t Margo, and treating a person as a miracle is always a mistake. The author also defended the occasionally unlikeable character, Margo, also known as Q’s miracle.
And throughout the laugh-filled discussion, Schreier confirmed that Green does make a cameo in the film, and that the soundtrack will be available June 16 and feature a song by Wolff and his brother Alex.
